Who these terms apply to
These Terms apply to clients who request or purchase services from PixiePinesPress, including website design, development, care, homepage reviews and related digital services.
24-month website model
PixiePinesPress may offer websites through a 24-month payment model with a clear route to ownership. During the payment term, the website is provided as an ongoing service. After the final agreed payment is received, ownership of the completed website files can transfer to the client, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Domain and hosting
Where possible, the client’s domain should remain registered in the client’s own name from the beginning. Hosting, SSL, care and technical maintenance may be provided as part of the service or agreed separately.
Payments
Payment amounts, due dates and included services are agreed before work starts. Late or missed payments may pause work, support, updates or access to active services until the account is brought up to date.
Project scope
The agreed project scope defines what is included. Additional pages, features, revisions, integrations or urgent work may require a separate quote or written approval.
Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate information, content, images and feedback in a reasonable timeframe.
- Ensure that supplied materials do not infringe third-party rights.
- Review work carefully before approval or launch.
- Maintain access to accounts, domains, email and third-party tools needed for the project.
Care and maintenance
Care may include reasonable technical updates, small content changes, monitoring and support, depending on the plan. It does not include major redesigns, new custom features or full content rewrites unless agreed separately.
Cancellation
Cancellation terms depend on the agreed service. For lease-to-own projects, the client remains responsible for payments already due and any cancellation terms agreed before work started.
Intellectual property
Client-provided materials remain the client’s property. PixiePinesPress may retain rights to internal processes, reusable code patterns, design methods and non-client-specific components. Portfolio use may be allowed unless agreed otherwise.
Limitation of liability
PixiePinesPress aims to provide careful and reliable work, but does not guarantee specific business results, rankings, sales or revenue. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service, to the extent allowed by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms when services, pricing, tools or legal requirements change. The latest update date is shown at the top of this page.
